Jaguars Sign Lewis, Waive Giles

The Jacksonville Jaguars made one minor roster move Thursday as they signed veteran free agent defensive tackle Jonathan Lewis and released rookie running back Lavarus Giles.  Lewis spent part of the season with the Oakland Raiders on their practice squad; he was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the 6th round of the 2006 draft [...]

Jags Agree to Terms w/ Rookie LB Thomas Williams

Jacksonville.com is reporting that Jaguars rookie linebacker Thomas Williams agreed to terms today on a four-year contract, which is expected to be signed sometime next week. The story says that he will get base pay of $295,000, $385,000, $470,000 and $555,000 and a signing bonus of $174,500. Only the signing bonus is guaranteed. [...]

Jaguars Sign only Offensive Draft Pick RB Washington

The Jaguars today signed their only draft pick on the offensive side of the ball from April’s draft, as they came to terms with seventh-round running back Chauncey Washington.
