Jaguars Lock Up QB Blake Bortles on Three-Year Deal Worth $54 Million

The Jaguars won’t be quarterback shopping this offseason, as the team and current QB Blake Bortles have agreed to a whopping deal that will pay him $54 million over three seasons, with incentives up to $66.5 million, $26.5M guaranteed.

The QB is coming off a career season in which he threw for 3687 yards, 21 touchdowns and 13 picks, and got the Jags to within a game of the Super Bowl.

There was rumblings the team would be in the hunt for possibly Kirk Cousins or another big name QB, but now with Bortles locked up, the team can settle on other spots in free agency and the draft.
