Texans DE Jadeveon Clowney Fills Trash Cans Jaguars Fans Sent Him with Toys for the Needy

When Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney called Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles “trash” after a lopsided 45-7 loss on Sunday, he inspired Jacksonville fans.

Their inspiration in turn inspired Clowney, Matt Young of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After the “trash” comment, some Jaguars fans jumped online and started ordering trash cans to be sent to Clowney at NRG Stadium.

On Friday, Clowney posted a photo on Twitter of himself with a van-load full of toys that he said he would use to fill up all the trash cans sent to him and give them to deserving families at Houston shelter The Mission of Yahweh.
