Mike Freeman, Lead NFL National Reporter for Bleacher Report, has written a long piece which talks about each and every NFL franchise, and their success.
There’s a number of factors involved, including Super Bowl, Conference and division titles. The Jags didn’t get much love on the list, as according to Freeman, they are nearly last in the NFL, coming in at 30.
Here’s what Freeman has to say about the Jags:
“Surround yourself with great people, people who have an outstanding work ethic, people who are business-like, who are focused and concentrated. Get everybody on the same page and have the same inspiration, same kind of drive, same kind of desire. Do the very, very best you can. Work to the best of your ability. Be efficient. Don’t waste time.” —Tom Coughlin to reporters on what it takes to be successful
The Tom Coughlin era was the bright spot for the Jacksonville Jaguars. It isn’t just his record that demonstrates how good a coach he was. Coughlin’s Jaguars went to the playoffs for four straight years, including two conference title games.
