The Jaguars are close to re-signing back-up quarterback Chad Henne, This according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports.
A team source confirmed the report and said a two-year deal is expected to happen today.
A league source said the deal is worth $8 million plus playing time incentives.
Two years ago, Henne’s two-year contract was also worth $8 million and he made more than $1 million extra because he began 2014 as the starter.
Henne will be 31 when the Jaguars open training camp. He has an 18-35 career record as a starter, including 5-17 with the Jaguars.
