Jaguars rookie linebacker LaRoy Reynolds has been suspended four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing drugs, Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times Union reports.
Reynolds will be eligible to return for the final three games of the regular season and can return to the roster on Dec. 6, a day after the Jaguars play the Houston Texans.
Because it is a PED violation, Reynolds is prohibited from entering the Jaguars’ facility or having any contact with the team.
Via Twitter, Reynolds posted two messages shortly after the suspension was announced.
“Sincerest apologies to all fans, supports and [Jaguars] family. Mistakes are made but I will come back prepared to help my team.
“I know in my heart it was an honest mistake. I will continue to trust God and come back better than ever. Can’t wait to rejoin my team!”
