The 0-5 Jacksonville Jaguars have lost their first round pick from the 2013 NFL Draft for the remainder of the season.
Left tackle Luke Joeckel got injured early in the game against the St. Louis Rams. He suffered an ankle sprain and will not play again until the 2014 season.
This comes as terrible news to a struggling Jaguars team. Only six days ago, the team traded Eugene Monroe to the Baltimore Ravens, which allowed Joeckel to move from right tackle to left tackle, the position he played in college. Now, the Jaguars no longer have any true left tackles on their roster, and will probably look to make a move to shore up their offensive line. The Jaguars have allowed 20 sacks so far this season, the third highest total in the league.
