The news that Chris Mortensen of ESPN reported Saturday night is one that Jaguars fans have been waiting to hear for a long time.
The news is that it’s a “virtual certainty” that current Jets QB Tim Tebow will end up on Jacksonville’s roster in 2013, and with that, will probably be the teams starting QB if he outperforms those others on the roster.
Mortensen claimed that the Jaguars will be having an “open competition” at the quarterback position next year. As the hometown favorite, it’s a lock that he’ll win the job.
The other rumor is that Jags owner Shad Khan loves Tebow, and it’s a 100-percent lock that Khan will be back in Jacksonville.
