NFL Week Two Preview – Houston at Jacksonville

It will be the home opener for the Jaguars Sunday, as they host the 2011 AFC South Champion Texans in a showdown in Jacksonville.

These two foes know all about each other, and they each are coming off very different results from week one. The Jags lost in OT in Minnesota, while the Texans had a rather easy home win over the Dolphins.

Shayne Graham kicked a 35-yard field goal, Arian Foster rushed for two touchdowns and Matt Schaub threw a 14-yard TD to Andre Johnson during a 6:55 stretch of the second quarter in the runaway win over the Fins.

Houston did have things to work on this week, like special teams, with Trindon Holliday totaling 61 yards on four returns and the team giving up a 72-yard punt return for a TD.

The Jags will look to get the ground game going as last season leading rusher Maurice Jones-Drew is expected to be back as the starting running back after not starting in week one.

If the Jags want to win, they have to get him going, and expect to see a steady diet of him – 15-20 rushes with over 100 yards is exactly what the Jags want to see.
