Jaguars Sign Three for Mini-Camp Depth

The Jaguars have signed defensive tackle David Howard, linebacker Jojo Dickson and kicker Sam Swank in time for the opening of their first voluntary mini-camp of 2012.

This signings are all depth signings due to injuries and holdouts preventing players from participating in the mini-camp. Defensive tackles Terrance Knighton,Tyson Alualu and linebacker Paul Posluszny will all miss the mini camp due to injuries and kicker Josh Scobee is holding out for a long term contract after having the franchise tag placed on him in February,

Howard was a seventh round pick by Tennessee in 2010 and has spent time with Oakland and Seattle. Swank has spent time with three teams, Philadelphia, Cincinnati and the New York Giants since entering the league in 2009, and Dickson spent a week with the Jaguars in training camp last year.
