The Jacksonville Jaguars would like to be the subject of HBO’s Hard Knocks in 2012.
Jaguars spokesman Dan Edwards said, “We did express interest, and at this point we don’t know what HBO’s plans are.”
Hard Knocks is a series created by HBO. The show follows a different team each summer throughout training camp and is often one of the top rated shows of the summer. The last series followed the New York Jets in 2010 — there was no season in 2011 due to the lock out.
Teams that have been covered by Hard Knocks are the Dallas Cowboys – twice, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets.
