Jaguars rescind rights to defensive tackle Nate Collins

The Jaguars rescinded the exclusive rights free agent tender they had previously placed on defensive tackle Nate Collins. By having the tender taken off him Collins is now an unrestricted free agent and is free to sign with any team.

The Jaguars reasons for rescinding the tender are unknown but it could be because of a recent arrest. Last month Collins was arrested in Virginia for marijuana possession. He was not taken into custody but he will appear in court in April.

Collins has played for the Jaguars since 2010 and he played in 12 games in 2012.
