Will Gabbert remain starting QB for Jags?

Interim Jaguars head coach Mel Tucker said Tuesday that rookie Blaine Gabbert will remain the Jaguars starting quarterback, according to John Oehser of Jaguars.com.

Tucker said, “Blaine is our quarterback now and our quarterback of the future.”

The Missouri alum was benched for Luke McCown late in the fourth quarter of the Jaguars 20-13 loss to Houston.

On the season, the 2011 tenth overall pick has the NFL’s worst completion percentage (48.5) and the same amount of touchdowns (six) as interceptions thrown.
