Jaguars News – 4/14

4:58 PM – In a conference call with Cleveland Browns season ticket holders, NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, said that the NFL has a plan in place that could delay the start of the season as much as 2 weeks and still play a full schedule. The Super Bowl would be moved back a week and there wouldn’t be the normal bye week between the conference championships and the Super Bowl. If the plan is needed due to the current CBA deadlock, the season could start as late as September 22 while maintaining the full slate of scheduled games.

1:04 PM – There’s not a whole lot going on today. The NFL and NFLPA are meeting in Minneapolis for more rounds of negotiations starting today. I don’t really expect much to come from these negotiations, but who knows. Maybe the two sides will surprise everyone.
