Jones-Drew Ahead of Schedule From Knee Surgery

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew revealed in a Tuesday radio interview that his knee is ahead of schedule following January surgery to repair meniscus damages. Great news, as it puts to rest speculation that the surgery would end up being disclosed as microfracture in nature down the road. Jones-Drew wasn’t supposed to run until May, but he’s already able to do so in early April. The quick recovery suggests the “bone-on-bone” condition late in the season may have been exaggerated.
