Jags on Hand for the Workout of Boise State DB Jeron Johnson

Boise State defensive back Jeron Johnson conducted his campus Pro Day workout Thursday with secondary coaches from the Jaguars, Cardinals and Falcons in attendance, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

Johnson stood on his 4.51 40-yard dash from the NFL scouting combine where he also bench pressed 225 pounds 23 times.
Today, he posted a 3.97 short shuttle, a 6.89 thre-cone drill, a 31-inch vertical leap and a 9-5 broad jump.

Per our source, Johnson had a strong workout in drills.

The 5-foot-10, 212-pounder is a three-time all-conference selection who led the team in tackles each of the past three seasons. He finished with 318 career tackles, ranking 12th on the all-time school record book.
