The Giants started the game with the football and Eli Manning drove the team 77 yards down the field but a fumble allowed the Jaguars to pick up the ball at their 3 yard line and the chance to score first. However, the play was challenged by Tom Coughlin and was overturned. The Giants would score a field goal and make the game 3-0.

The Jaguars started their opening drive at the 25 yard line. MJD was very productive on the drive and put up 40 rushing yards on 4 carries. Jennings made the game 7-3 scoring on a 5-yard TD run.

The Jaguars defense forced the Giants to punt on their second drive after a 3 and out.

Jaguars start their second drive of day at their own 11-yard line. Jaguars will continue this drive in the 2nd quarter as the first quarter ends with the Jags now at their 47-yard line.

In the first quarter alone, the Giants allowed 90 rushing yards. Coming into the game, they allowed 89.5 rushing yards to their opponents. It will be interesting to see if the Jaguars keep attacking the Giants’ run defense and how much success they will have doing so.
