Halftime Thoughts

The Jaguars have looked impressive during the first half of the game. The #2 ranked Giants defense gave up 236 yards to the Jaguars and while it is too early to tell, it looks as if the Giants are on their way to a loss and their annual second half meltdown.

For the Jaguars to continue their success, they must continue to wear down the Giants defense and chew up the clock. So far, the Jags have had the ball for 18:34. On their first possession of this coming half, they have to continue doing the things that they have done in the first half. Garrard has played mistake-free and the O-Line has been playing phenomenal. They are giving Garrard time to make throws and are blocking even better not only at the line of scrimmage but even down the field. The Jags must keep their foot on the pedal and not allow the Giants any shot of getting back into this ball game. The game is not nearly close to being over and it would be a terrible loss if the Giants were to come back and win this game.
