Jags pick up just released safety Mike Hamlin, release QB Null

Safety Mike Hamlin, who was released by the Cowboys on Wednesday, was signed by the Jaguars and placed on their practice squad. To make room for Hamlin, the Jags waived quarterback Keith Null. Hamlin a 2009 fifth round pick, played in six games for the Cowboys last season. When the Cowboys cut Hamlin, it meant they wanted to go with younger safeties.
