Jags pickup free agent QB Todd Bouman to replace Luke McCown

Free agent quarterback Todd Bouman has signed with the Jaguars, according to Mark Long of the Associated Press. Bouman will likely replace Luke McCown as Jacksonville’s backup passer after McCown suffered a torn ACL in replacement duty Sunday. Still, considering he hasn’t played a regular season snap since 2005, David Garrard’s job is completely safe, and the team might struggle if he goes down.

  1. Jaguars says:

No surprise there. Todd Bouman knows the system Dirk Koetter runs. At least no one will be calling for McCown to replace Garrard now.

It is unfortunate that Luke got hurt that badly, wish him a speedy recovery.
