Jags send free safety Reggie Nelson to Cincy for CB David Jones

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports via twitter that the Bengals have acquired free safety Reggie Nelson from the Jaguars. In exchange, the Bengals shipped out cornerback David Jones. Nelson, the Jaguars former first round pick in 2007, is coming off of a 70-tackle season in 2009. The acquisition of Nelson fills a need after Gibril Wilson tore his MCL and ACL in the preseason. Primarily a special teamer in Cincinnati, Jones could be in line for more defensive snaps in Jacksonville.
