Fantasy football buff Maurice Jones-Drew is getting his own radio show. The Pro Bowl Jaguars running back will host the program every Friday night during the season on the new all-fantasy-sports station on satellite radio service Sirius XM. Jones-Drew lost the NFL Players Association fantasy league title to Cato June in 2008.
Last season, he good-naturedly acknowledged that by taking a knee at the one-yard-line to seal a victory against the Jets, he cost himself a fantasy win. Nine-time NHL all-star Jeremy Roenick and former Mets general manager Steve Phillips will also host shows on the new station, which launches Thursday.
