Free safety Nelson could be shown the door

The Florida-Times Union reports that free safety Reggie Nelson could be the next to go if he doesn’t start getting better:

Jaguars free safety Reggie Nelson returns for his fourth season, in addition to Anthony Smith, Gerald Alexander, Sean Considine and Courtney Greene. Despite immense physical gifts, Nelson continues to struggle after a strong rookie campaign in 2007. The upcoming season could be Nelson’s last in Jacksonville if his play doesn’t improve.
