Pro Football Weekly reports that the Jags have inked third-round pick Terrance Knighton:
The Jaguars agreed to terms with third-round DT Terrance Knighton on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Knighton is regarded as a bit of a developmental project but will get ample opportunities to make a rookie mark on a defensive line lacking a strong complement to John Henderson at tackle. The athletic Knighton, who measures 6-foot-3 and 325 pounds, notched 26 tackles for loss and six sacks during his college career at Temple.
Knighton’s signature leaves the team with two unsigned draftees — first-round OT Eugene Monroe and second-round OT Eben Britton — two days before rookies and veterans are due to report to training camp.
