Pro Football Weekly reports the Jags have inked a couple draft picks:
The Jaguars signed two more draft picks on Thursday, inking third-round CB Derek Cox and seventh-round WR Tiquan Underwood. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The Jags traded up in the third round to select Cox, who’s expected to contend for return duties along with a role in the secondary. In his college career at William & Mary, the 6-1, 190-pound Cox nabbed nine interceptions. He scored two touchdowns off interceptions and another two on punt returns as a senior.
Underwood brings track-star speed to the Jaguars’ revamped WR corps. He finished his college career at Rutgers with 132 receptions, 1,931 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was the third of three wideouts Jacksonville drafted in April, following Mike Thomas and Jarett Dillard.
The Jaguars still have three of their nine picks unsigned, including first-round OT Eugene Monroe, with rookies scheduled to report to training camp on Aug. 2. Their first-round pick last season, DE Derrick Harvey, served a lengthy holdout as one of the final first-rounders to sign.
