Could the Jags Take a Look at WR Holt?

Could the Jags take a long look at recently released WR Torry Holt? Today’s Florida Times-Union takes a stab at the topic:

Matt Jones’ departure leaves the Jaguars with just five receivers on the roster: Dennis Northcutt, Mike Walker, D’Juan Woods, Troy Williamson and Nate Hughes. None are considered No. 1 receivers. GM Gene Smith said the Jaguars will pursue a veteran wide receiver in free agency and probably will draft one. This draft class is considered a deep one for wide receivers. One veteran available is Torry Holt, who was recently cut by the Rams. Smith didn’t want to discuss whether the team will pursue Holt, 32. It remains to be seen if he’ll be in the team’s price range.
