The Jaguars had a busy Saturday, as the team came to terms with five new assistant coaches. Coming aboard include Mel Tucker as defensive coordinator and Russ Purnell who was hired as special teams coordinator.
Purnell previously served as special teams coordinator for Indianapolis under coach Tony Dungy. The Jaguars also added quality control coach Johnny Cox, defensive line assistant Charlie Jackson and strength and conditioning coach Luke Richesson.

what a terrible move… why would we bring in a guy who is used to a 3-4 when we run a 4-3. It makes no sense.
I will be pissed if Del RIo isn’t calling the plays. Tucker better just run the defense during practice.
