Although it’s not being called a firing, Gregg Williams isn’t returning to Jacksonville. “It’s sort of an amicable divorce,” Demoff said. “Gregg is an optimistic workaholic who liked working there, but I just think it wasn’t the best fit for either of them [Williams and Del Rio].” When Williams signed with the Jaguars last year, he was already under contract to the Washington Redskins. The Redskins were on the hook for most of his salary. … Williams interviewed with the New Orleans Saints according to his agent, Marvin Demoff, who said there are other teams interested in Williams. Demoff declined to name the teams, but there’s been speculation that both Green Bay and Houston have Williams on their short lists.
