The players named were not only there for their skill level but also their veteran mentality, which is explained in the article. It's about the chemistry and the mentality of a football team as one, not about how fast or slow or how young or old a player is. Sammy Knight was new to the jaguars, as was aaron glen, so I don't mind them letting them go so much, although they did possess the veteran qualities that are oh so helpful to a young team. But Ernest Wilford for 1 was one of my favorite receivers in the league, he is a great receiver and a mature and professional athlete, as well as Terry cousin who had been with the organization a few years, but also had the veteran qualities that you would want on your team. I am overall disappointed with the Jaguars this season. Taylor said it perfectly, we have good players, but a bad mix, a bad team. They just have to get it back together this off season - enjoy the rest of the 08' season. Lets get back on track for 09'. Jags Forever. carol is an idiot.
