2008 Gameday – vs Steelers

National Anthem

Returning to Jacksonville to perform this week’s National Anthem is Anthony Fedorov. From a young boy who was never supposed to be able to speak, to a man with a golden voice – Anthony Fedorov has truly beaten all the odds. As an American Idol Season Four Top 4 Finalist, to being voted the Number 2 most popular performer in the 2005 Idol summer tour, Anthony has begun the ascent he has dreamed about all his life. Aside from the fame he has enjoyed from his experience competing on American Idol, Anthony has remained true to his passion of creating and performing great music. He is currently writing and working with some of music’s most successful songwriters and producers.

The Colors will be presented by the United States Marine Corps and the American Field Flags will be held by Marines and Sailors from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort and Naval Hospital Beaufort. On hand to interpret the Star Spangled Banner for the hearing impaired is ROAR Cheerleader, Courtney Brown.

Following the National Anthem, there will be a Marine Corps flyover. It will be performed by the “Thunderbolts” of the Fighter Attack Squadron 251, flying four F-18 Hornets. They are based at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina.

For Sunday’s halftime entertainment, the Jaguars and Winn Dixie are proud to present a laser and pyrotechnic extravaganza! The production for this show is provided by Strictly FX out of Chicago, Illinois. This fireworks display is set to music from the Beatles to the modern rock so make sure to stay in your seats as this will be a show to remember!
