New Jaguars WR Troy Williamson, whose inconsistent hands made him a bust in Minnesota, has impressed the coaching staff in Jacksonville. However, we hear there’s a lingering suspicion that he’s a “practice field hero,” and that the team is waiting until actual game action to feel comfortable with its new deep threat.

I really hope Williamson pans out, and I think he will. Look what wide receivers coach Todd Monken did last year with “supposed bust” Reggie Williams. He only went on to set the franchise record for TD receptions (11). When it is all said and done, I believe Williamson will be one of the steals of the year around the NFL.

Williamson is one of the worst players ever to be allowed to suit up. Take it from me, up here watching him for 3 painfull years. You really made a mistake taking him on, but thanks for ’stealing’ him from the Vikes. He will be good for a couple extra losses for you, because his untimely drops in important situations quickly spread throughout the team.
