The Jags today made two moves, sending often injured DT Marcus Stroud to the Bills for a 3rd and 5th round pick, and before that they signed corner back Drayton Florence to a deal. Florence will get $12 mil in bonus money according to FoxSports.com. He became the most coveted free agent corner after the Eagles signed Asante Samuel on Friday. Florence, a five-year veteran with the Chargers, was productive as a nickel corner in the playoffs. He intercepted two passes and defended four others. He will replace Terry Cousin as the teams nickel back, as the team chose not to re-sign him. “This is a move that will significantly strengthen our secondary,” coach Jack Del Rio said. “Drayton is entering the prime of his career and he’s a real good fit for us and our defense.”
