Former Skins DC Interviews With Jaguars

                               Gregg Williams

The Jacksonville Jaguars have commenced interviewing for the vacant defensive coordinator’s position, and their first interviewee is probably the most high-profile interviewee at this stage of the process; according to Michael C. Wright of the Florida Times-Union and verified by Jaguars head coach Jacxk Del Rio, the interviewee in question is none other than former Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.

Del Rio added that he isn’t ruling out the possibility of promoting from within to fill the DC slot, vacated by Mike Smith, who took over as Atlanta Falcons head coach last week.  Williams is the first candidate to interview for the vacancy; others I expect the Jags to interview are: Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, former Denver Broncos assistant coach Jim Bates and ex-Miami Dolphins coach Dom Capers.
