It looks as if the Jags may be willing to bail out on former number one pick wide out Matt Jones. Sporting News is reporting that most of the offensive staff with the Jags wants to cut ties with Jones, who has under performed since being the 21st pick overall in the 2005 NFL Draft. Jones is very inconsistent, and has not been the go-to guy the Jags thought they were getting. The publication states that the team will shop Jones around this offseason, willing to take a mid-round pick for him.
