With the season over, there is much promise for the Jags come 2008. They seem to have the foundation with a solid offense and tough defense to again challenge the Colts, who could have a new coach, in the AFC South. One player who already is stating he wants to be a part of next season is defensive tackle Grady Jackson, who played well with the team after joining them mid-season. Jackson was cut by the Falcons in a stupid move by now ex-coach Bobby Petrino, and in his time with the Jags filled the gap nicely. Now he wants to return next year. “We’ve got the potential of being one of the best teams in the NFL.” If he is not being outrageous in his demands on a deal, he’s one player the team should look at bringing back next season.
