Two Players Arrested Saturday Will Not Play Today
Posted by Matt Loede on November 4th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Jags will be today without rookie linebacker Justin Durant or second-year offensive lineman Richard Collier after they were both arrested in separate incidents Saturday. Neither player made the trip with the team to New Orleans to play the Saints at 1pm today. Collier was arrested for DUI and Durant was arrested and charged with resisting arrest without violence. The team placed Collier on the reserve/suspended list Saturday. Collier has been inactive every game this season. Durant, a second-round pick from Hampton, played in six games with two starts and has 13 tackles.
