Criminal Charges Dropped Against OT Barnes

There will be no criminal charges against Jaguar Khalif Barnes, as The State of Florida dropped criminal charges earlier today against him, but he could still face a probation violation, stemming from an earlier DUI charge. The offensive tackle faced charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident after police say he drove his car into a neighbor’s yard and hit a tree. According to police reports, Barnes called 911 and reported the accident, then left the scene. He was arrested and charged with DUI in a separate incident from November of last year. He was convicted after a “no contest” plea, and sentenced to probation, 50 hours community service, and a restricted drivers license.
