With David Garrard out for about the next four weeks, the Jags on Thursday signed QB Todd Bouman to a one-year deal. Bouman is a 10-year pro that has six career starts. He will make the NFL minimum for a vet at $720,000. He has played in 42 games in his career with three teams – the Vikings, Saints and Packers. Last year he was the backup to Brett Favre, but didn’t throw a pass. Bouman, along with Doug Johnson and Drew Henson worked out for the Jaguars on Wednesday.
