Taylor Misses Practice; Listed as Questionable

It may come down to back Maurice Jones-Drew being the man Sunday vs the Texans, and Fred Taylor missed practice on Friday due to a groin injury. Taylor took part in practice on Wednesday, but then was limited on Thursday and missed the whole session on Friday. Right now Taylor leads the Jags with 207 yards rushing. Jones-Drew would get the start if Taylor is unable to go in the contest. In other injury notes, DE Reggie Hayward missed Friday’s practice with a hamstring injury. He is listed as questionable.
