Jags Safety Position Up in the Air
Posted by Matt Loede on September 20th, 2007 filed in NewsWho knows what direction the Jags will go next with their safety spot. They placed safety Gerald Sensabaugh on injured reserve on Wednesday, ending his 2007 season. The decision not to re-sign Deon Grant in the offseason now may come back to haunt the Jags, as they are weak across the roster at the backfield spot. One possible solution could be to move corner Brian Williams back to the safety spot. Right now plan on seeing veteran Sammy Knight get playing time as well, but there is some consideration being given to moving Williams. The Jags are three-point underdogs for Sunday’s game at the 2-0 Broncos.
