David Garrard played two series and led the Jaguars to two touchdowns as the Jags beat the Green Bay Packers, 21-13, at Lambeau Field. Garrard was 6-for-7 for 97 yards and a touchdown, albeit against the Packers second-string defense. Byron Leftwich, however, finished just 6 of 16 for 67 yards for the Jaguars, who improved to 2-1 in preseason play. Brett Favre went 14-of-20 for 130 yards and Aaron Rodgers threw for 82 yards on 6-of-9 passing for the Packers, who fell to 2-1 in the preseason.

Green Bay receiver Donald Driver hurt his right ankle in the second quarter. Driver caught Rodgers’ first pass attempt of the game, attempted a spin move and injured the ankle while being tackled by safety Sammy Knight after a 12-yard gain with 2:29 remaining in the quarter. He was taken to locker room to under go medical tests and did not return to the game.
