Jags Say So Long to Former #1 Pick Tim Couch

Couch

The comeback of former overall number one pick Tim Couch appears to be over. Couch was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars today. The news comes as a little surprise since the Jags signed Couch to a 2 year contract last month. In the jaguars first preseason game Couch saw limited action he completed two passes for 11 yards and was sacked twice. Word out of Jacksonville it was obvious that Couch lost considerable arm strength due to the shoulder injury. This is Couch’s second and maybe last chance to revive his once promising career after failing to make Green Bay’s roster in 2004. No word from Couch or his agent if this is it for the former Kentucky Wildcat.

I say couch has a small chance of getting back in the league with a practice squad or something.
