2007 Game Day – Jaguars vs Buccaneers



Please join Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver along with Dr. Chuck Paulson and Mr. Rad Lovett from the University of North Florida in recognizing two outstanding high school graduates for their selection as the 2007 Jaguars Foundation/University of North Florida Community Scholarship recipients. The two recipients are Sanitra Livingston from Stanton College Preparatory and Britney Broussard from Terry Parker High School. Sanitra and Britney participated in the Honor Rows program, have met the academic requirements, and have demonstrated a commitment to volunteer service. They are being presented with a UNF scholarship award as well as an autographed football from the Jaguars Foundation.

The Jaguars are also excited to congratulate the Jaguars Foundation’s 2006 Playbooks Drawing Winners. Special congratulations to the Grand Prize Winner, Javier Sykes. You can pick up a copy of the 2007 Playbooks starting on September 9 at any local public library.

National Anthem

Performing the National Anthem for tonight’s game is Heather Bureau. Heather, age 19, is a native of New London, Connecticut.  She came to the First Coast with her family at age 3.  She is the oldest daughter of Stephen and Allison (Sides) Bureau; and has two younger sisters, Meagan and Michelle; she graduated with honors at Fleming Island High School’s Class of 2006.

She is currently a full time student at Florida Community College of Jacksonville where she is a member of the Women’s Choir and the College Chorale as well as a member of the Forensic Speech team and a staff writer for the college newspaper, The Campus Voice.

Heather began singing at a very early age at church in Kingsland Georgia while her father was stationed at Kings Bay Sub Base. Since then, Heather has been singing regularly at her church, school and local events.  Heather has also placed in several local competitions including first and second runner up at the Ham Jam, first runner up Clay Idol, Top 10 2006 Concert on the Green Scholarship Competition, fourth runner up in the Miss Fleming Island High School, second runner up in the FCCJ Talent Competition, second runner up in the Clay County Agricultural Fair Talent Competition, and is currently one of three finalists in the Jax Idol Singing Competition.

The Colors for tonight’s game will be presented by the Naval Hospital Jacksonville.

On hand to interpret the Star Spangled Banner for the hearing impaired are Haley Turner and Oliva Malcolm, students from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.


Tonight’s flyover will be performed by Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Seven, the “Golden Warriors”. The Golden Warriors will fly two F/A-18A Hornet’s from NAS Oceana. Recently, the Golden Warriors deployed again to the Persian Gulf with the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) in support of operation IRAQI FREEDOM in September 2005. They returned in March 2006 but are currently training for its next deployment scheduled in the summer of 2008. The Golden Warriors are commanded by CDR Frank “Spanky” Morley. The pilots performing tonight’s flyover are LCDR Robert “Chef” Pieroni and LT Tim “Straw” Tuschinski, a Bishop Kenny and Jacksonville University graduate. The ground controller will be LT Charles “Ahab” Liles.


For this evening’s halftime entertainment, the Jacksonville Jaguars proudly present HELL ON WHEELS Productions!

It’s a BMX stunt show with some of the world’s top riders.  They have performed all over the country at thousands of sporting events.  HELL ON WHEELS Productions provides the nation’s top action sports stunt show. Young and old alike will be blown away when they witness first hand the fast-paced, high-flying action of the HELL ON WHEELS Stunt Show.  Joining them tonight will be none other than our very own Jaxson de Ville. After a devastating crash on the ramp last season, Jaxson de Ville looks to reclaim his title as the best bike-flying mascot in the NFL!
