The Florida Times-Union and The Associated Press report that the Jaguars signed their two seventh-round supplemental picks - linebacker Chad Nkang and offensive lineman Andrew Carnahan - on Thursday, leaving the team with only four of its 11 draft picks not under contract.  The Jaguars still have to sign their first three picks - safety Reggie Nelson, linebacker Justin Durant and wide receiver Mike Walker - and their third fifth-round pick, defensive tackle Derek Landri.

When camp opens on July 28, the rookies have to be signed in order to join the team. As seventh-round picks, Nkang and Carnahan receive the standard four-year rookie contracts with minimum salaries of $285,000, $370,000, $460,000 and $550,000, plus an escalator clause based on playing time that can possibly boost the fourth-year base salary to the low tender.  They also received signing bonuses in approzimately the $36,000 range.
